About Me
My approach to movement is that it should be fun and accessible. I work to create a space where everyone and every body feels accepted. I believe that the best type of physical activity is the one that they enjoy and I love helping people figure out what that is for them.
When I first started working out, I was too embarrassed to head to the gym on my own so I started running outside in back alleys. Really. Since having my two kids, fitness has become an important part of my own self-care. I love how fitness can create community and bring people together.
As a social worker, I know firsthand that physical activity is an important part of our overall wellness. Since 2019, I have incorporated fitness into my work as a mental health clinician.
My fitness certifications include:
-
American Council on Exercise, Personal Trainer
-
British Columbia Recreation & Parks Association, Group Fitness Instructor
-
Fit4Two, Pre and Postnatal Fitness Specialist
-

-
